Peg is available to present, nationwide, on topics such as: the benefits of home
funerals; their history; state-by-state legal considerations; and myths and fears
about home funerals. Other services include:
- Consultations with Families – 1 to 2 hours. Peg supports families by
offering educational consultations prior to the death of a loved one. This time is
devoted to helping families create their own plans for after-death care.
- Introductory Presentations – 1 to 3 hours. Peg provides educational
presentations to all types of community groups. She gears the information to the needs
of the particular group, for example, churches, civic groups, libraries, college
classes. Peg also gives informal presentations in private homes allowing invited
guests to learn about home wakes and funerals in a more intimate, private setting.
- Workshops / Trainings – 3 to 7 hours. Peg offers a more in-depth
half-day or daylong workshop which includes specific, hands-on training on how to do a
home wake and funeral. She has traveled to various states across the country to give
- In-Services – 1 to 3 hours. These presentations are offered to groups
such as hospices, hospitals, and medical examiners to give them specific information as it
relates to their professional concerns.
